This article will guide you on how to complete the objective of the side quest “Shepherd of the Pawns” in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Starting Location
- This side quest is a sub-quest of another side quest “Halls of the First Dawn“. So players need to start the “Halls of the First Dawn” quest first.
To start the quest, go to the Excavation Site in Volcanic Island Camp.
First, defeat the Magick Golem and then talk to Henrique near the gate.
Start following him to reach a gaol where he should give you the key after speaking with a few prisoners.
Aid in the pawns’ escape
Head back to the location where you had defeated the Magick Golem near the gate earlier. Open the door of the second hut on the hill to collect the Diminished Godsawy staff. Refer to the hut on the map.
Bring Diminished Godsway to Henrique
Return to gaol and deliver Diminished Godsway to Henrique to end the side quest.
