You will get the main quest “Into the Dark” if you sided with the Peacekeepers faction. If you sided with the Survivors Faction you will get a different quest called “Revolution” instead.
Tell Hakon – Here
If you select to give the GRE key, Hakon runs off to try getting the doors open, leaving you stranded in the train station. You will speak with an NPC Anderson. Anderson will call you back over to the barrier, where he will give you charges to blow up the wall and escape.
Tell Hakon – How will the GRE key help you with this?
If you choose the dialogue “How will the GRE key help you with this.” Hakon won’t mind. You will meet Hakon later in the main story.
Now, you will get the main quest “Into the Dark” if you sided with the Peacekeepers faction. If you sided with the Survivors Faction you will get a different quest called “Revolution” instead.
Hakon can be found at the end of the main story “Into the Dark” or “Revolution.” You will meet Hakon at the end of both main stories. Talk to Hakon. And when he tries to open the door, Hakon will be shot by an arrow.
Whether you choose to give GRE Key or not, the final result will be the same.
