Porygon is a Normal Type of Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shinning Pearl with a 5% Chance To Catch. You can evolve Porygon into Porygon2 and then Porygon2 to Porygon Z. This guide will show you the exact place where you will need to find Porygon and evolve it into Porygon2 and Porygon Z.

Porygon has two separate evolutions, both of which require you to use special hold items. These special hold items area Upgrade and Dubious Disc
Where to find Upgrade
Once you have unlocked the National Dex, head to Eterna City. Speak with Professor Oak after visiting Ramanas Park. Professor Oak is located at the very south, to the left of the city’s Gym. Talk to Professor Oak there, and he’ll give you an Upgrade. You can also purchase an Upgrade from the Battle Tower for 5 BP.
Where to find Dubious Disc
You can collect the Dubious Discon Route 225 in the Battle Zone. Head to the small house on the northern part of Route 225. Head up the stairs beside the house and you will see a water body. Use HM Surf and swim across. Walk downstairs and look around for a Poke Ball. Dubious Disc is available for purchase at the Battle Tower for 5 BP.
How to Evolve Porygon
Now, you need to trade Porygon while your Porygon is holding Upgrade. Either trade with yourself on another system or find a friend you trust. Once they receive Porygon, it will evolve into Porygon 2.
Next, you need to trade Porygon 2 while your Porygon 2 is holding the Dubious Disc. Either trade with yourself on another system or find a friend you trust. Once they receive Porygon, it will evolve into Porygon Z.
