This guide shows how to complete the “Follow the Wolves to the Norns” objective for “The Word of Fate” quest in God of War Ragnarok. Click here for a video walkthrough.
Follow the Wolves to the Norns
As you get the objective, you will be in the Lake of Nine. You won’t get any objective marker here. The trick is to go in the direction wolves’ heads are facing. Doing this will lead you to the northeast side of the Lake of Nine as shown in the picture below.
Climb up the ledge at the marked location and continue ahead. Soon you will arrive at King’s Grave. Interact with the stones at the center of the area to get a sword hilt. It can be used to initiate boss fights at 10 Gravestones.
Then go to the illusionary wall near the red chest and Freya will make the wall disappear. But you won’t find anything inside.
Go back to the wolves and follow them to reach the location marked in the picture below. Jump over the ledge there, then interact with the wall straight ahead as shown in the second picture below. Freya will make the wall disappear, but you still won’t find anything inside.
Go back to the wolves and follow them to reach the location marked in the picture below. Go straight ahead and you will find a Nornir Chest there.
Use the grappling hooks on the walls near the chest to climb up the mountain. Then break the ice wall as shown in the second picture below to create a narrow passage. Squeeze through the narrow gap in the wall.
Now follow the mountain ahead by following the path as shown in the picture below. Interact with the illusionary wall at the top as shown in the second picture below. This will create a path ahead, completing the objective.
