Gasas Shrine: Well-Timed Cuts Walkthrough

This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the Gasas Shrine in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, released on 12th May 2023. The Gasas Shrine is at the location shown in the pictures below.

As you enter the shrine, you will see a box hanging from a string. Break the string and the box will fall down. Use the box to jump across the gap. As you proceed, you will see another box. Use the Ultrahand ability to lift the box up to the top of the wall ahead as shown in the picture below. Then drop it. Now step on the box and use rewind on it. This will make the box go back up. When it’s at the top, quickly jump to the surface ahead.

Attach the two slabs there to make a long slab. Use it as a bridge to cross the gap and reach the surface across. Now lift the slabs and use them to connect to the platform on the right side. Keep the slabs underneath the chest hanging from a string as shown in the picture below. Now cut the string, which will make the chest fall down on the slab. Open it to get a Large Zonai Charge.

Pick up a box in the area and attach it to one end of the long slab (Two slabs connected together). Now pick up this arrangement and place it into the alcove on the opposite side as shown in the picture below. The block will act as a counterweight and stop the long slab from falling down. There is a chest hanging from the string in the alcove. Cut the string and the chest will fall down on the slab. Open the chest to get a Small Key. Use the key to open the iron gate.

Proceed to the next room. On the right side of this room, you will see a ball hanging from a string. Swing the ball toward the surface as shown in the picture below. When the ball is coming toward the surface, quickly shoot the string and the ball will fall on the surface. Drop the ball into the hole on the left side of the room. This will open an iron gate. Go through it and get the blessing to complete the shrine.
