This guide shows how to restore the power of Godrick’s Great Rune and how to use it in Elden ring. You will get Godrick’s Great Rune by defeating Godrick in Stormveil Castle. When you get your first Great Rune, the game will tell you about the Great Runes. The Great Runes have lost their beneficial power and their power can be restored at Divine Towers.
On seeing Godrick’s Great Rune, you will learn that its lost power can be restored at the Divine Tower of Limgrave.
How to Restore Godrick’s Great Rune
Go to Limgrave Tower Bridge, which is at the location marked in the picture below.
Climb up the stairs in Limgrave Tower Bridge. Here you will find two giants. Keep sprinting straight ahead. At the end of the path, you will see a teleporter as shown in the picture below. Use the teleporter to reach Limgrave Tower Bridge.
After being teleported to Limgrave Tower Bridge, open the door ahead and use the elevator to go to the top. When the elevator stop, proceed head until you reach the roof. Interact with the glowing symbol on the roof to restore the power of Godrick’s Great rune.
Now when you see Godrick’s Great rune in the inventory, you will see that its power has been restored. It raises all attributes.
How to use Godrick’s Great Rune
Rest on any Site of Grace, and equip the Great rune. But if you check your attributes, you will see that they have not increased. This means Godrick’s Great Rune isn’t active yet. to activate Godrick’s Great Rune, you will need to consume a Rune Arc. When Godrick’s Great Rune is equipped and you have consumed a Rune Arc, you will see that attributes have increased by 4. The effect will be active until you die.
Where to get Rune Arc
You can purchase Rune Arc from Twin Maiden Husks in the Table of Lost Grace for 4000 Runes as shown in the pictures below.
You can also get Rune Arc as enemy drops, specifically rats. a good place to farm for the Rune Arcs is the basement of Dragon-Burnt Ruins, which is on the east of the starting location in Limgrave as shown below. In the basement, you will find 5 rats. They have high a chance of dropping Rune Arc.
