This guide shows the location of all 8 Collection Chests locations and how to get them in the Hogsmeade Valley area in the Hogwarts Legacy game, which was released on 10th February 2023.
1) Collection Chest
The first collection chest is in a Medium Bandit Camp north of the Upper Hogsfield hamlet. The location is marked on the map. The treasure chest is next to a bunk bed inside a tent.
2) Collection Chest
This chest is also in a Medium Bandit Camp next to some crates and barrels in the northern corner of the base.
3) Collection Chest
The next 2 Collection Chests are inside the Overlook Mine. To enter the mine you need to do the main quest “In The Shadow Of The Mine“. Go to the specified location and enter the mine.
Enter the mine and keep going until you reach a large area. Take the left path from this area, jump across a gap, climb up the ledge, and eventually slide down into a much larger area.
A spider web-covered corridor can be found on the east side of this area. Burn the spider’s web with the Incendio spell. Go inside to discover a chest.
4) Collection Chest
Return to the previous location and look to the west for entry to another zone. Use the Accio spell to rearrange the nearby crate and climb up the cliff.
Go into the new area, then slide down and up the ledge on the right to reach a broken bridge. Use the Reparo spell to repair the bridge. Pass the bridge and proceed through the southeast tunnel (left).
Cast Lumos and take the path to the right at the fork in the road. Proceed slowly and crouch to go through the hole to the right to find the second
5) Collection Chest
Fast travel to the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flames. The collection chest is in the first house to the left going on the northern road from the fast travel point. Enter the house to find the chest behind the brown folding screen.
6) Collection Chest
Going north from the last collectible, the second chest is found in the next house on the left side. Use Alohomora spell to enter the house. The chest is hidden behind the wooden wall in front of the door, behind the bookcase.
7) Collection Chest
Enter the next house on the left side for the third chest. Use Alohomora spell to enter the house. Collection Chest is on the right side immediately after entering the house.
8) Collection Chest
Take the left road after leaving the previous house. There is a small structure there with a wooden wheelbarrow in front of it. Enter the building and look for the Chest near a little table.
