Machop is a Fighting-type Pokemon available only in the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. You will find Machop in Route 207 (Oreburgh City) and Grand Underground of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP). This guide shows how to reach the grand underground and the underground hideaway/ Biome, and where you will find Machop.
#1 – Route 207 (Oreburgh City)
Machop can be found on Route 207, north of Oreburgh City. To get there, head to the city’s top-right path, near the Mining Museum and the Pokemon Center. Following the path up, you’ll come across a small patch of land where you can find Machop
#2 – Grand Underground
You will find Machop in the Grand Underground of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP).
How to reach the Grand Underground
To reach the Grand Underground, you will first need the Explorer Kit. You will get the Explorer Kit in the Underground Man’s House, which is right next to Pokémon Center in Eterna City as shown in the picture below. Enter the house and talk to the Underground Man to receive the Explorer Kit. The Explorer Kit will be in your Bag’s Key Items pocket.
Once you have the Explorer Kit, go to your Bag’s Key Items pocket and use the Explorer Kit to enter the Grand Underground. Then you can explore the Grand underground.
Where to Find Machop
There is a total of 18 hideaways/Biomes in the Grand Underground. You will find a Machop in Spacious Cave, Grassland Cave, Whiteout Cave, Sunlit Cavern. These caverns can be identified on the minimap by their icon shown in the picture below. You will need to press ‘Y’ to open the minimap. Click here to see how to reach all the areas in the grand underground. Place a Fighting-type statue in your secret base to increase the chances of Machop spawning.
