This walkthrough will guide you through everything you need to know on how to climb Alder Windmill in Dying Light 2. There are 17 Windmill locations in the game and activating all windmills unlocks the Don Quixote trophy and achievement.

These windmills are little parkour challenges that require you to climb to the top of the Windmill building. If you don’t have enough Stamina you can’t climb for long enough and will fall. You can increase your stamina by collecting Inhibitors or by increasing player rank.
ALDER WINDMILL – How to Climb to the Top
The windmill is located in the central part of Trinity district as marked on the map below. Climbing Alder Windmill doesn’t need higher stamina, around 100+ stamina should be fine enough with player rank 1.
Starting from the bottom, jump to grab the wooden platform as shown in the picture below.
Jump on the tire on the wooden platform to reach the moving mechanism.
Stand on the moving mechanism and turn around. Jump to grab the wooden platform.
Go to the left end of the platform and then jump onto the ladder and climb up to the top.
At the top fix the fusebox to claim Alder Windmill.
