This article will guide you on where to find the Boss – Midra Lord of the Frenzied Flame in the game Elden Ring (Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC), released on 21st June 2024.
Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame Location
Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame is a Legend Boss in Elden Ring DLC. This is an optional boss which means you don’t have to beat this boss to move forward in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Step 1: Reach Darklight Catacombs
Starting from the Main Gate Plaza Site of Grace, head east and follow the path up the ramp.
Then go down a ladder on the left. You can find the ladder after reaching the area with boats.
Go around the ledge and go down another ladder to reach a room. Attack the illusionary wall to open the new path.
You’ll find a coffin. Sit in it to be transported to the bottom water location
Once you exit the coffin, unlock the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace.
Follow the path in the south direction on the right side along the water. Upon reaching a waterfall, go to the left side where you’ll find another Site of Grace.
Continue moving south and jump across to the right-hand side of the cliff when you see the gap is narrow enough to jump.
Keep moving south and jump down the ledge to find another Site of Grace – Recluses’ River Downstream
Face southeast and carefully drop down using the gravestone steps, until you reach the bottom.
After reaching the bottom, proceed southeast until you reach the next waterfall. On the left side, you’ll find more gravestones to descend further. Once you’ve descended, turn east and follow the left wall, where you’ll discover the entrance to the catacombs: Darklight Catacombs
Step 2: Exit Darklight Catacombs
Enter inside the Darklight Catacombs and continue moving forward until you emerge on the other side. Defeat the boss Jori, Elder Inquisitor after exiting the Darklight Catacombs.
Step 3: Reach Abyssal Woods
After defeating this boss, you’ll find a Sight of Grace named The Forsaken Graveyard. Follow the open water path straight ahead from here, then head west and run along the water. This will lead you directly to another Sight of Grace: Abyssal Woods.
Step 4: Reach Midra’s Manse
From Abyssal Woods Sight of Grace, head south and follow the water. The path will curve around and gradually turn west. Stick with the water, and you’ll soon enter a misty area where an enemy you can’t attack will continuously harass you.
Don’t bother fighting it, just keep moving west. and keep dodging the enemy’s attacks until it eventually stops chasing you.
Continue to head south until you’ll see a large Manor in the distance. Make your way inside to reach Midra’s Manse.
Step 5: Boss Midra, Lord of the Frenzied Flame Location
Boss Midra is located at the ‘Second Floor Chamber’ Site of Grace.
