Pokedex: #074 Pikachu. Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokémon. When it is angered, it immediately discharges the energy stored in the pouches in its cheeks. Pichu is a pre-evolution for Pikachu.
There are two ways to get Pikachu in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You can either evolve it from a Pichu or catch it outright.
1) Pikachu Location
Pikachu can be found in four locations:
- South Province (Area Two) – west of Los Platos
- South Province (Area Four)
- East Province (Area One)
- West Province (Area Three)
2) Evolve Pichu into Pikachu
