God of War Ragnarok: In Plain Sight Favor

This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the In Plain Sight Favour/ Side Quest in God of War Ragnarok. You must complete the Scent of Survival Favor in order to unlock The Crater region.

How to Start In Plain Sight Favor

From the gateway, climb up the wall on the north side. Then turn left and drop down the ledge between two broken pillars. Now turn left and you will see a branch coming out from the rock as shown in the second picture below. Use the hook on the branch to jump to the other side and climb up the wall ahead. After climbing up the wall, turn left and you will see an animal carcass next to a rock as shown in the third picture below. Interact with it to start the quest.

Find more evidence of Soul Eater activity

From the animal carcass’s location, go north. You will see a puddle of water on your left side. North of the puddle you will find another carcass. Interact with it to complete the objective.

Slay the Soul Eater

From the carcass, turn right. There you will see a rock as shown in the picture below. This rock is Soul Eater. Hit the rock to awaken the Soul Eater. Then slay it to complete the quest.
