This guide shows the complete walkthrough of Like a Moth to a Frame side quest in the Hogwarts Legacy game, which released on 10th February 2023. This side quest will be available after completing Charms Class and Defence Against the Dark Arts Class main quests.
Speak with Lenora Everleigh
After completing Charms Class and Defence Against the Dark Arts Class main quests, talk to Lenora in the central hall as shown in the pictures below to start the quest.
Discover the painting’s secret
After talking to Lenora, use the Lumos spell in front of the blank painting. This will make a location appear on the painting as shown in the picture below.
Find the location depicted in the painting
From the painting, turn right and go down the stairs. There you will find a moth next to a sculpture as shown in the picture below. This is the location depicted in the painting.
Return the Moth to the painting
Use the Lumos spell on the math at the marked location and take it to the painting. Then shoot the moth into the painting to complete the objective. By doing this, you will get a Field Guide Page.
Speak with Lenora Everleigh
Talk to Lenora again to complete the quest. Here you will get two options: Either tell her how you solved the mystery or not tell her. If you tell her how you solved the mystery, then Lenora will be happy and if you don’t tell her, then she will be angry. The choices don’t have any impact on the story.
