God of War Ragnarok: Lyngbakr Island Collectibles

This guide shows how to get all the collectibles in the Lyngbakr Island area of the Svartalfheim region in God of War Ragnarok.

1) Favor: The weight of chains

As you arrive on the island, The Weight of Chains favor starts automatically. You will get all the collectibles along the way as you are doing the favor. 2) Lore (Lore Marker – Regarding the Removal of Resources)

After the island is fully unlocked, row back the boat to the dock as shown in the picture above. Hop out of the boat and climb up the wall ahead of you. Then go right and destroy the golden debris there as shown in the picture below. Now go inside and cut the post shown in the second picture below. This will make the fin of the creature come out of the water. Destroy the binding to free the fin.

Go back to the previous area. Then jump to the other side and climb up the wall on the right side as shown in the picture below. As you reach the top, turn right to find the lore marker as shown in the second picture below.

3) Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – We Who Remain, Part the Second)

From the lore marker, turn around and climb up the wall as shown in the picture below. Then turn left and go till the end to find the artifact.

4) Odin’s Raven

Go back to the platform where you got the lore. Then jump to the platform on the east side. Now go left and use the chain at the edge of the platform to climb down. There you will find the second post. Cut the post, which will make the fin of the creature come out of the water. Destroy the binding to free the fin.

After freeing the second fin, destroy the Wretch Nest at the corner of the area as shown in the picture below. This will reveal a grenade hiding under it. Open the gate on the south side of the area. Then pick up the grenade and go through the gate. Go straight ahead and then jump through the gaps on the right side.

This will lead you to the chain that you used to reach the lore. This time, don’t use the chain. Turn left instead and throw the grenade on the gold ores as shown in the picture below. Then jump to the other side. Here, you will see a tunnel entrance on the right side as shown in the second picture below. Go through the tunnel. Then turn left to find the raven as shown in the third picture below.

5) Legendary Chest (Rönd of Aggravation – Shield Attachment)

Go back to the grenade. Pick up a grenade, then turn around and go to the opposite edge. Now throw the explosive on the golden debris down below on a dock as shown in the picture below.

Go back to the boat and row it around the island and dock it on the north side. Then climb up the wall on the left side as shown in the picture below. Defeat the enemies at the top. Then go left and cut the post there and the tail of the creature will come out. Now use the zipline as shown in the second picture below to reach the small island ahead. There you will see the legendary chest in front of you.

Then destroy the third binding and go back to the creature’s eye to complete the favor.
