Find the key on the island

You get the key when you arrive on the small island at the center of the Bay of Bounty as shown in the picture below. Your first objective will be to find the key on the island.

Get down off the boat and clear the golden debris on the right side by blowing up the explosive barrel as shown in the picture below. Then proceed ahead on the path and climb the wall at the end. Then destroy another golden debris as shown in the second picture below. This will reveal some ledges.

Walk on the ledges to reach the other side as shown in the picture below. There you will find a wooden crank. Rotate it to send the lift down. While holding the crank, throw your axe at the gear as shown in the second picture below to freeze the gear and hold the lift down.

Now go back to the ledges and move to the top of the lift that you just sent down. When you are on top of the lift, summon back the axe, and the lift will take you to the top. From there, jump down on the cracked floor to smash and go into the room underneath it. You will find the Watchtower Key inside the chest in the room.

Bring the key to the watchtower

Once you have the Watchtower Key, hop back on the boat and go south to the watchtower as shown in the picture below.

After docking the boat, hop out of the boat, and climb up the wall on the right side as shown in the picture below. Then use the Watchtower Key to open the door on the right side. Now, go inside and follow the prompts to strike the gong. This will complete the objective.

Return to the creature

Go back to the boat and take it north again to Lyngbakr Island as shown in the picture below. As you arrive, the objective will be updated to Free the Lyngbakr.

Free the Lyngbakr

Hop out of the boat and climb up the wall ahead of you. Then go right and destroy the golden debris there as shown in the picture below. Now go inside and cut the post shown in the second picture below. This will make the fin of the creature come out of the water. Destroy the binding to free the fin.

Go back to the previous area. Then jump to the other side and climb up the wall on the right side as shown in the picture below. Defeat the enemies at the top and use the hook to jump to the other side as shown in the second picture below. Then go left and use the chain at the edge of the ground to climb down as shown in the third picture below. There you will find the second post. Cut the post, which will make the fin of the creature come out of the water. Destroy the binding to free the fin.

After freeing the second fin, destroy the Wretch Nest at the corner of the area as shown in the picture below. This will reveal an explosive hiding under it. Pick up the explosive and go to the opposite edge. Then throw the explosive on the golden debris down below as shown in the second picture below.

Go back to the boat and row it around the island and dock it on the north side. Then climb up the wall on the left side as shown in the picture below. Defeat the enemies at the top. Then go left and cut the post there and the tail of the creature will come out. Now use the zipline as shown in the second picture below to reach the small island ahead. From there, destroy the third binding to free the creature.

Boat to the Lyngbakr’s eye

After destroying the third binding, turn around and destroy the wooden blockage. Then slide down the wall and take the boat to the Lyngbakr’s eye as shown in the pictures below.

You should probably removed or blur the images with Freya on the boat with Kratos to avoid spoiling content
