Mayachin Shrine Puzzle: A Fixed Device Walkthrough | The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This article will guide you on how to solve all the puzzles inside Mayachin Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Mayachin Shrine is located in the Hyrule Field region.

A Fixed Device solution

After you enter Mayachin Shrine, jump on the rotating platform in front of you and ride it over to the other side.

Next, you’ll find a switch on the floor and a crystal. And below you’ll see a few construction poles and a giant ball rolling through the middle of it all.

First, stand on the switch to reveal a target on the left side. Go down to the lower level and use your Ultrahand ability to pull the pole out of the ground and place it inside the hammer-like contraption in the middle of the room.

Next, join the two poles end to end before joining them to the end of the pole that you insert into the device. The entire mechanism will resemble a pinball machine flipper in the center of the floor.

Return to the top near the crystal and strike it with your weapon when the rolling ball approaches your flipper. This will propel the ball toward the target and open the exit route of the Mayachin Shrine!

After unlocking the exit in Mayachin Shrine, there is an optional treasure chest that can be obtained by hitting the second target on the right side of the room. To get it, grab the pole from behind the stone slab, place it on the roof above the slab, and use Ultrahand to lift up the slab and attach it to the pole.

Then, go back to the crystal area and hit the crystal to launch the ball towards the right target and open the room with the treasure chest.
