This walkthrough will guide you through everything you need to know on how to solve the request “Poor, Peckish Piplup” in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In this request, an NPC will ask you to help her in feeding a starving Piplup. Piplup is not interesting in anything you give it other than a particular food to eat.

How to Unlock – Poor, Peckish Piplup
You can get the request no. 55 – Poor, Peckish Piplup from an NPC while exploring Cobalt Coastlands to start the request. This request gets unlocked after establishing the Coastland Camp in Sand’s Reach at Cobalt Coastlands. In case you don’t see this request, then return to Jubilife Village and travel back to Cobalt Coastlands to reset the map.
After establishing the Coastland Camp, talk to Maris (NPC) on a small island to the south. I have marked the location on the map. Maris will ask you to help her in feeding a starving Piplup. Piplup is not interesting in anything you give it other than a bean cake.
How to Get Bean Cakes
Buy Bean Cake Recipe
You can be purchased the bean cake recipe from Anvin at the Craftworks in Jubilife Village. Plump Beans Recipe cost ₽1,000.
Buy the Ingredients/Crafting Material
Also, purchase 1 x Plump Bean and 1 x Cake Lure Base from Anvin. Cake Lure Base cost ₽100 and Plump Bean cost ₽200
Note: Plump Beans are also available in Cobalt Coastlands. You can find it underneath trees in the Ginkgo Landing, Crossing Slope, Aipom Hill, and Bather’s Lagoon.
How to Craft Bean Cakes
After getting both of these items, you can craft Bean Cake. Now, go back to Maris. It will still be waiting for you at the same small island to end the request.
