Sentimental Value: Side Quest Walkthrough

This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the “Sentimental Value” side quest in Dying Light 2. The quest will be available after you have completed “The Only Way Out” main quest.

Talk to Maya

You will get this quest by talking to Maya on a rooftop in Horseshow at the location shown in the pictures below. The quest will be available after you have completed “The Only Way Out” main quest.

As you are talking to Maya, you’ll be attacked by a few bandits. Defeat the bandits and talk to Maya again. She will ask you to bring back her Music Box.

Search for the Music Box

Go to Dark Hollow in the Quarry End at the location marked in the picture below.

Enter the compound and go left as shown in the picture below. Then enter the building.

As you enter the building, you will see the elevator shaft in the front. Enter the elevator shaft on the right side. Then climb up to the top of the elevator cabin on the left side as shown in the picture below. Then climb the rails on the wall.

At the top of the rails, lean right and jump to reach the upper level. Then crouch and go through the hole on the door as shown below.

Here you will find an infected that has swallowed the music box. Clear the area of the infected and get the music box from the infected’s body. Make sure that you have spare inventory space for the music box. Otherwise, the game will send the music box to stash, and later when you talk to Maya Aiden will tell her that you have sold the music box.

Give Music Box to Maya

You will find Maya, standing next to the trader in Bazzar as shown below. You can give the music box back to her if you want.
