This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the side quest The Daedalian Keys in the game Hogwarts Legacy. As you stroll around the castle grounds, you may come across several locked cabinets that have no way of being opened. You need Daedalian Keys to open these locked cabinets

How to start The Daedalian Keys
Requirement: The quest is available after you complete The Locket’s Secret main quest.
After talking to Nellie, she will ask you to track one of these keys down. Nellie is located beside the big tree in the courtyard.
Speak to Nellie Ogspire
Nellie is located beside the big tree in the Transfiguration courtyard. She will tell that flying Daedalian Keys can be used to access the content of a few locked cabinets. These keys appear every few years and you should try to catch them.
Find the Daedalian key in the Astronomy Tower
You can find the Daedalian key one floor above the Floo Flame fast travel point of the Astronomy Tower. At the Astronomy Tower make your way up the first set of stairs. You will notice a key with wings. When you come near the key, it will fly down the stairs past you.
Find the Daedalian key’s cabinet
Keep following the key into the Astronomy Classroom. The Classroom is to the left of the fast travel point. Enter the Astronomy Classroom and look for the key near a cabinet on the left side of the room.
Open the Daedalian lock
To open the lock wait for the key to fly over the lock or point toward it. Then Slap the key into the lock. If you time it well, the cabinet will open and reveal a house token.
Return to Nellie with the token
Return to Nellie in the same courtyard. She will tell you that the house tokens unlock a house chest.
Insert the house token into your house chest
Now you can fast-travel back to the common room of your respective house and place the token in the chest to open it.
