This guide shows the complete walkthrough for The Discarded Insignia World Quest in Gesnhin Impact 2.8 Summertime Odyssey event, which started on 15th July 2022 and will end on 24th August 2022.
Quest Starting Location
You will get the quest by talking to Electrohammer Vanguard in Minacious Isle at the location marked in the picture below. This quest will be available only after you have completed Like Rhyme and Song, the Summer Reverie quest.
Give the Insignia to the Electrohammer Vanguard
Go to the Pudding Isle and you will find the insignia in the water at the location shown in the pictures below. Collect the insignia and give it to the Electrohammer Vanguard to complete the objective.
Find a Way to Open the Path that Yakov Took
After giving the insignia to the Electrohammer Vanguard, jump to the lowest level of the highlighted area as shown in the picture below. Here you will find four Elemental Totems.
Near one of the Elemental Totems, you will find an echoing conch that will give you a hint to open the path that Yakov took. The hint mentions White-Green-Red-Blue as shown in the picture below.
As per the hint, you need to hit the four Elemental Totems in the sequence: Cryo-Anemo-Pyro-Hydro. Hit the totems with the element indicated on them in the sequence shown in the pictures below. This will open the path that Yakov took.
Go and Look for Yakov
Once the portal is open, cast Anemo to the windmill as shown below to activate the wind current. Then take the wind current to enter the portal. Talk to Chevka there and then go to Yakov to complete the quest.
