The South Wing: All 5 Collection Chests Locations
This guide shows the location of all 5 Collection Chests locations and how to get them in The South Wing area inside Hogwarts in the Hogwarts Legacy game, which released on 10th February 2023.
1) The South Wing Collection Chest #1 (Clock Tower)
It is at the bottom level of the Clock Tower. Use Glacius or Arresto Momentum to stop the pendulum when it is in front of the westernmost circular plate with a unicorn picture as shown in the second picture below. This will unlock the door as shown in the third picture below. Go inside to get the collection chest.
2) The South Wing Eyeball Chest (Clock Tower)
As you enter the clock tower from the courtyard, enter the door on the right side. Then climb up the stairs to reach the next floor. Now use Glacius or Arresto Momentum to stop the pendulum when it is in front of the circular plate as shown in the picture below. This will unlock the door on this floor. Go inside to get the Collection Chest. Become invisible before entering the room to open the eyeball chest inside.
3,4) The South Wing Collection Chest #2,3 (Clock Tower)
Climb up the stairs to reach the next floor. Now use Glacius or Arresto Momentum to stop the pendulum when it is in front of the circular plate as shown in the picture below. This will unlock the door on this floor. Go inside to get two Collection Chests.
5) The South Wing Collection Chest #4 (Clock Tower)
From the Faculty Tower floor flame, go south and go through the level 1 locked door on the right side. Then climb four flights of stairs and open the level 3 locked door next to a tortoise statue as shown in the pictures below. Go inside and use Glacius on the fireplace. Now go through the fireplace and climb up the stairs behind it to reach the collection chest.
6) The South Wing Collection Chest #5 (Clock Tower)
From the Faculty Tower floor flame, go south and climb down the spiral staircase to reach the frog statue as shown in the picture below. Interact with it and it will teleport you to a secret room with the collection chest.
