God of War Ragnarok: The Southern Wilds Collectibles

This guide shows the location of the Collectibles and how to get them in The Southern Wilds area of the Vanaheim Region in God of War Ragnarok.

1) Hel Tear (Frozen Spark)

Go north from The Southern Wilds Mystic Gateway and you will find the Hel Tear on the right side as shown in the pictures below. They will spawn after Main Story Quest 12: Reunion.

2) Odin’s Raven

Continue north and then take the path going left. As you reach the shore, look up and you will see the raven flying around as shown in the pictures below.

3) Legendary Chest (Wrath of the Frost Ancient – Light Runic Attack)

Go to the location marked in the picture below. Then continue ahead and enter the ruined structure. Inside, you will see a small hole in the wall on the left side as shown in the second picture. Crawl inside to find the legendary chest.

4) Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – Upon Pursuing a Place Not Marked On Maps)

Continue ahead in the ruined structure and climb up the platform to reach the upper level at the location marked in the picture below. From there, jump down and smash the cracked floor as shown in the second picture below. You will find the artifact underneath the cracked floor.

5) Nornir Chest

Nornir chest is in the northern part of the area at the location shown in the picture below. To unlock the chest, you need to hit three posts to make the same symbol appear on them as on the chest.

The first post is on the left side of the chest as shown in the picture below. Hit the post until the symbol “C” appears on it.

Now turn around and you will see the second post on the left side, covered in vines, as shown in the picture below. Burn the vines with your blade and then hit the post until the symbol “R” appears on it.

Walk along the mountain wall towards the right and you will see the third post up ahead, covered in vines. These vines extend to the left, up to an approachable distance from you. Burn the vines with your blade and hit the post until the symbol “N” appears on it. This will unlock the chest. Open the chest to get an Idunn Apple.
