Tombsward Catacombs Location

Tombsward Catacombs is in the Weeping Peninsula at the location marked in the picture below. From the Tombsward Site of Grace, go north and you will find the dungeon entrance on a wall as shown in the pictures below.

Tombsward Catacombs Walkthrough

After entering the catacomb, climb down the stairs and you will find a Sworkstone Door ahead as shown below. Inside you will find Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [9]. You will also find a skeleton enemy inside. It might be easier if you run from the skeleton instead of fighting them as they are pretty slow. Also, they can be killed only with holy weapons. If you kill them with other weapons, then they respawn. Before respawning, they emit blue light. You can hit the skeletons when it is emitting blue light, then it won’t respawn.

Come out from the room and go down the stairs to reach the boss’s door, which will be closed. This door can be opened by pulling a lever. From the closed door, go down the stairs on the right side. In the next room, you will find Grave Glovewort [1] and Grave Glovewort [2]. Continue ahead and you will reach a hall. Here you will find Grave Glovewort [1] and Ghost Glovewort [1]. Then go through the passageway on the east side of this hall as shown below.

As you proceed, you will reach a fire trap. If you have a ranged weapon, then you can hit the fire trap with it to deactivate the fire trap. If you don’t have a ranged weapon, then run and hide in the nook on the right side as shown below. Pick up Human Bone Shard in the nook. Then go near the fire trap and hit it to deactivate it.

Then go to the room on the east side to get Grave Glovewort [2] and Prattling Pate “Thank You” there. Now go back to the fire trap and ride it to reach the platform above as shown in the picture below.

On the platform above, you will find Golden Rune [2]. Then proceed ahead and you will find a Grave Glovewort [2] near an altar. Now turn right and you will reach the lever as shown in the picture below. Pull the lever, which will make the Boss’s door open. Now jump down and proceed ahead to go to the Boss’s lair. Defeat the Cemetery Shade boss to get Lhutel the Headless ashes.
