Tsurumi Island: All 12 Stone Cube Puzzles | Genshin Impact 2.2

This article shows how to solve all the rotating stone puzzles that you will find on the Tsurumi Island of the Inazuma region. Tsurumi island was introduced in Genshin Impact 2.2 update on 13th October 2021. Some of the stone puzzles are hidden. To reveal them you will need the ‘Peculiar Pinion‘ gadget, which you will get during ‘Octave of the Maushiro‘ World Quest.


1) Shirikoro Peak: 5 Cube Puzzle

You will find 5 rotating cubes at the northern edge of Tsurumi island as shown below. Make all the glowing sides face the southern direction to solve the puzzle. Hit the cubes numbered 1 & 2 in the picture below three times each to solve the puzzle and get a common chest.


2) Shirikoro Peak: 4 Cube Puzzle

The 4 rotating cubes puzzle is near the previous puzzle at the northern edge of Tsurumi island. Make all the glowing sides face in the north direction to solve the puzzle. Hit the cubes till they turn north and get a common chest as a reward.


3) Statue of the Seven: 5 Cube Puzzle

There are 5 rotating cubes on a small island west of the Statue of the Seven on the east side of Tsurumi island. You have to make all the cubes turn south to solve the puzzle.
Cube 1: Hit 2 times
Cube 2: Hit 3 times
Cube 3: Hit 5 times


4) 3 Cube Puzzle

There are 3 cubes at the location marked below. You have to make two leaves to glow on all the cubes to solve the puzzle.
Cube 1: Hit 1 time
Cube 3: Hit 2 times


5) Chirai Shrine: 4 Cube Puzzle

There are 4 cubes at the highlighted location. One of the four cubes will be below the hole behind the three cubes shown below. You need to make all the three leaves on all four cubes glow to solve the puzzle.
Cube 1: Hit 1 time
Cube 2: Hit 1 time
Cube 3: Hit 2 times


6) Autake Plains: 5 Cube Puzzle

There are 5 rotating cubes at the location highlighted below. Make all the glowing sides face in the west direction to solve the puzzle. Hit the cubes till they turn west and get a common chest as a reward.


7) Autake Plains: 4 Cube Puzzle

There are 4 cubes at the highlighted location. You need to make one leaf on all four cubes glow to solve the puzzle.
Cube 1: Hit 1 time
Cube 2: Hit 2 times
Cube 3: Hit 1 time
Cube 4: Hit 2 times


8) Mt Kanna: 4 Cube Puzzle

There are 4 cubes at the highlighted location. You need to make all the three leaves on all four cubes glow to solve the puzzle.
Cube 1: Hit 1 time
Cube 2: Hit 2 times
Cube 3: Hit 1 time


9) Hidden Cubes Puzzle at Northestern Edge of Tsurumi island

There is a Thunderbird statue in the northeast portion of Tsurumi Island. Use the ‘Peculiar Pinion‘ gadget in front of the statue to reveal 5 cubes. To solve the puzzle, you need to make the same number of leaves glow up on all the cubes.
Cube 1: Hit 3 times
Cube 2: Hit 1 time
Cube 3: Hit 2 times
Cube 4: Hit 0 times
Cube 5: Hit 2 times


10) Hidden Rotating Cubes Puzzle North of Ceremonial Site

Go to the highlighted location and use the ‘Peculiar Pinion‘ gadget in front of the statue to reveal 4 rotating cubes. To solve the puzzle, you need to make all the cubes towards the east.
Cube 1: Hit 3 times
Cube 2: Hit 1 time
Cube 3: Hit 2 times


11) Chirai Island: Hidden Cubes Puzzle

Go to the highlighted location in Chirai Shrine and use the ‘Peculiar Pinion‘ gadget in front of the statue. This will reveal 4 cubes down below on the west side. To solve the puzzle, you need to make the same number of leaves glow on all the cubes. Solving the puzzle spawns a Remarkable Chest.
Cube 1: Hit 1 time
Cube 3: Hit 2 times


12) Shirikoro Peak: Hidden Rotating Cube Puzzle

You will find a Thunderbird Statue at the north of Shirikoro Peak. It won’t be glowing, so you won’t be able to use the feather on it. You will have to solve two rotating cube puzzles nearby (#1 & #2 Puzzle in this article) to make the statue glow. Once the statue is glowing, Use the ‘Peculiar Pinion‘ gadget in front of the statue to reveal 4 hidden rotating cubes. Hit them to make them face south. This will solve the puzzle and an exquisite chest will spawn.

    This guide is useful but has some problems such as the directions. For example the picture says West but it’s actually East.(6- Autake Plains: 5 Cube Puzzle).
    Also the amount of leaves needed to be activated was incorrect for one of the Puzzles (7 -Autake Plains: 5 Cube Puzzle).
    Still very helpful though, thank you!
