Use Henrietta’s Map to find the Treasure

This guide shows how to complete Use Henrietta’s Map to find the Treasure objective for The Hippogriff Marks The Spot side quest in the Hogwarts Legacy game, which released on 10th February 2023.

The objective will start after you pick up Henrietta’s Map kept on a table near the Poidsear Castle Floo Flame as shown in the pictures below.

Henrietta’s Hideaway is near the southern edge of the map as shown in the pictures below.

After entering Henrietta’s Hideaway, turn left and light the torch in front of the statue by using the Incendio spell. This will make the statue rotate, revealing a cube. Use the Accio spell on the cube and place it on the plate in front of the wall. Now use Incendio spell on the left cube and Glacius spell on the right cube as shown in the picture below. This will reveal a door behind the cubes.

Proceed ahead to the next area and defeat all the enemies there. In this area, you will see a giant Hippogriff Statue at the center, with torches around it. Here the treasure map clue will come into play. As per the map, you need to light some of the torches and freeze the others as shown in the pictures below. First, use any fire spell to light up all the torches. Then freeze the torches as shown in the second picture below using the Glacius Spell. This will solve a puzzle and a wall will move it the room to reveal a chest. Open the chest to complete the quest.
