Capture Aponi

After speaking with the Kamaria, head up the slope to the north to find a group of Chocobos around mining carts. Slowly approach them. It will initiate the “Wrangle a Chocobo” World Intel, in which your objective is to capture Aponi.

Wrangle a Chocobo

Move slowly near the cart without altering the Chocobo, then hide behind it. When the Chocobo turns to the right, move the cart forward down the rail track until you reach the second Chocobo.

Push the cart ahead until its end part meets the upfront metal box on the left end. This will obstruct the Chocobo’s vision.

Now move to the other side of the cart, and when the chocobo looks to the left, grasp the cart and drag it to the end of the tracks. If the Chocobo spots you, simply hide behind the cart.

Use the lever on the left to switch tracks, then push the cart forward to the third chocobo.

Wait for the third Chocobo to look to the right. At this point, immediately push the cart forward until you reach some stones on the left.

Throw the stones behind the fourth chocobo. When the Chocobo turns around to inspect, quickly change the track by pulling the lever and pushing the cart forward.

Continue to push the cart until it is near the fifth chocobo. Throw stones behind the fifth Chocobo to distract and push the cart forward.

Hide behind your cart as you get close to the blue Chocobo (Aponi). Throw stones at the blue Chocobo, and when it turns around to investigate, quickly rush and wrangle it with the triangle button.
