This guide shows the complete walkthrough of Blaidd’s Questline. On completing the questline, you will get Blaidd’s Armor Set & Greatsword. Check the video below for all Blaidd encounters.
Start the quest by talking to Merchant Kale
To start the quest, first, you will need to visit Mistwood Ruins in Limgrave East as shown below.
Once you have visited Mistwood Ruins, go to the Church of Elleh and talk to Merchant Kale.
Now you will get the option to ask Merchant Kale about howling in the Mistwood. He will give you the Finger Snap sign, and tell you to use this sign next tie you hear the howling.
Find the Howling Wolf
Go back to the Mistwood Ruins. Pay attention to the sound of howling. When you hear the howling, use the Finger Snap sign as shown in the picture below. This will make a wolf named Blaidd appear. He will be at the northern entrance of the Mistwood Ruins. Talk to him and he will tell you that he is looking for someone named “Darriwil“
Find & Defeat Darriwil
Go to Forlorn Hound Evergaol, which is at the southern portion of Limgrave as shown below.
Stand on the switch at the center, and you can summon “Blaidd the Half Wolf” to help you in the fight.
Darriwil will appear as a glowing blue light as shown in the picture below. Defeat Darriwil and you will get a Bloodhound’s Fang Curved Greatsword. Talk to Blaidd after the fight and he will give you a Somber Smithing Stone [2]. He will also tell you to meet the Blacksmith in Raya Lucaria and tell him that Blaidd sent you.
Talk to the Blacksmith in Raya Lucaria
The vendor is near the Road to the Manor Site of Grace in Liurnia as shown in the pictures below. His name is Smithing Master Iji and he sells Somber Smithing Stone 1,2,3 & 4.
Keep talking to him until you get the “Blaidd sent me” option. Now Falian Filigreed Crest will also be available for purchase at 5000 Runes.
Go to Ranni’s Rise
Go to the top of Ranni’s Rise and talk to the Witch Ranni as shown in the pictures below. She will tell you to find take help of Blaidd to find the Hidden Treasure of Nokron, the Eternal City.
After talking to Ranni, take the elevator to the lower level of Ranni’s Rise. Tak to Blaidd and he will tell you that he is planning to go below through the well in mistwood. Talk to Iji add Seluvis to in the tower. Then talk to Ranni again to be able to leave the tower. Talking to Seluvis starts his questline. Click here to see complete Seluvis’s questline.
Talk to Blaidd in Siofra Well
Talk to Blaidd in Siofra Well at the location marked in the picture below. He will tell you that he does not know how to reach Nokron city. He will advise you to talk to Seluvis.
Talk to Seluvis
Go to the Seluvis’s Rise building as shown in the picture below and talk to Seluvis. He will tell you to talk to Sellen in Limgrave.
Talk to Sellen
Talk to Sellen in Waypoint ruins as shown below. She will tell you that Killing General Radahn will open the path to Nokron City.
Talk to Blaidd in Siofra Well
Go and talk to Blaidd in Siofra Well. He will tell you that Radahn will be in a castle on the southern edge of the Caelid Wilds, east of Limgrave.
Defeat Radahn
Challenge and defeat General Radahan in Redmane Castle, which is in the southeast portion of Caelid as shown in the picture below. The trigger to get Radahan to accept your challenge is by defeating a certain number of bosses. The number of bosses you need to defeat for Radahan to accept your challenge is not yet clear. So, if Radahan is not accepting your challenge, then you will need to defeat more bosses. Radahn is a demigod. When you defeat him, there will be a meteor shower in the sky. One of the meteors will hit Limgrave and reveal an entrance to Nokron.
After the fight, Blaidd will tell you to meet where the falling star bit the earth.
Meet Blaidd in Mistwood Ruins
Go to the place where you first met in Mistwood Ruins. He won’t be there. He has left a message for you as shown in the picture below.
The Message Reads: There’s a traitor taken care of. Onwards to Nokron, then. Go on. I’ll catch up.
After this, you won’t meet Blaidd until you finish Ranni’s questline. Click here to see the complete Ranni’s questline walkthrough.
Fight with Blaidd
After completing rann’s questline, go back to Ranni’s Rise. You will find Blaidd outside the tower. He will fight you there and you will get Blaidd’s Armor set and Blaidd’s Greatsword after defeating him. This completes the Blaidd questline.
