Starting Location
This quest can be initiated during the main quest “Seat of the Sovran“. To start the quest, go to the town of Melve and speak with an NPC named Ian in front of Lennart’s house. He can often be seen talking to himself. He wants you to look for his missing brother (Norbert), who went into the forest searching for herbs.
Find Norbert
After accepting the request, follow Ian (NPC) to the Backwoods Nest cave. Defeat any enemies who try to attack Ian.
After reaching the Backwoods Nest, you’ll find Norbert under attack by wolves. Defeat the pack of wolves
Escort the brothers back to Melve
After rescuing Norbert, escort the brothers back to Melve to end the quest. You will get 400 XP, 1500 G, and a Homespun Cloak as a reward for completing the quest.
