Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dulled Steel, Cold Forge Quest
This quest “Dulled Steel, Cold Forge” is available after completing the main quest “Seat of the Sovran” in Vernworth. To start this quest, speak with a soldier named Roman on the stairs outside the Vernworth castle.
Then follow Roman where he gives you a sword that needs repair.
Reach Battahl
You will get entry to Battahl during the main quest “Nation of the Lambent Flame“
Interact with the Oxcart Station near Vernworth’s northwest exit and pay the driver 200 G to get to Checkpoint Rest Town.
At Checkpoint Rest Town, proceed to Ibrahim’s Scrap Store on the western side of town. Buy the Beastern Mask for 8500 G from this scrap store.
Next, continue to the south of Checkpoint Rest Town to locate a large Iron Gate.
Wear the Beastern Mask and talk to the guard. Show the guard your Eastern Border Entry Permit, and he will allow you to pass through the Big Iron Gate.
Make for the Rockmouse’s Burrow
After crossing the border, you arrive in Battahl’s region.
Proceed along the main pathways to the quest marker. Defeat the enemies along the main path to reach the entrance of Bakbattahl City. Follow the main path as shown in image below.
Enter the “Rockmouse’s Burrow” inn, located outside the city. Talk to Menella inside the inn to get a Battahl Residence Permit. This will end the quest.
