Collect the five lost Books

This guide shows the complete walkthrough for the “Collection of Dragons and Snakes” world quest in the Enkanomiya area, which was introduced in the Genshin Impact 2.4 update. For this quest, you will need to find the 5 Lost Books in Enkanomiya. To start the quest, talk to the ghost on the second floor inside the library in the Narrows as shown in the picture below.

Hydrological Studies in Byakuyakoku

You will get this lost book by completing the “Date’s Challenge” world quest.

Bathysmal Vishap Experimental Records

You will get this lost book by completing the “Tricolor File” world quest.

Before Sun and Moon

You will get this lost book by completing the “Antigonus” world quest.

In the Light Beneath the Shadow

Go to the location southwest of Dainichi Mikoshi as marked on the map below. Here you will see a Ruin Guard with some explosives next to it as shown in the picture below. Shoot the explosive and the blast will create a hole in the wall behind.

Before going through the hole in the wall, turn around and jump down on top of the pillar behind you. Switch to Evernight by interacting with the device on top of the pillar as shown in the picture below.

Once you have switched to Evernight, go through the hole on the wall. In this room, you will find two triangular mechanisms. Hit the triangular mechanism as shown in the picture below to open the steel gate in front of it.

Now go back to the device and switch to Whitenight. Then go through the hole on the hole wall and hit the second triangular mechanism in the room. This will move the wall and open the path to the hidden chest. You will see something shining on the wall behind the chest, but you won’t be able to do anything.

Now go back to the device and switch to Evernight. Then go back to the chest and climb on the wall behind the wall. Interact with the wall to activate the symbols as shown in the picture below. As the symbols on the wall start glowing, you can see a number of small triangles near each symbol representing an order, which you will have to use later.

Now go to the Serpent’s Heart at the location marked in the picture below.

Here you will five barriers with the same symbols on them as you saw on the wall before. Run into the barrier in the same order as you saw before on the wall. The correct order is shown in the picture below. As you run into a barrier, you will be thrown back to the center. Run into all 5 barriers in the correct order, and a chest will spawn at the center. Open the chest to get the lost book.

You can buy this lost book from Kuroda. You will find him north of Inazuma City waypoint as shown in the picture below.

Show the Books to Ema

Once you have the five books, go back to Ema on the second floor in the narrows Library.

Return the books to their shelves

Now go near the shelves on the second floor in the narrows Library and return the lost books to complete the quest.

Luxurious Chest

After placing the lost books, the mirror will become active as shown in the picture below. Go through the mirror and you will come out back into the library but this time you will also find a sigil and a luxurious chest in the library. The luxurious chest will be on the ground floor of the library as shown in the picture below.
