Starting Location

This sidequest may be started while playing the main quest In Dragon’s Wake. To start the side quest, travel north of Melve to Eini’s House. Inside the house, Trysha will give you a list of books to start the quest.

Note: This quest is like “The Sorcerer’s Appraisal” where you need to collect same books. To finish both in one playthrough, make forgeries of the books for Myrddin (Trysha’s father) and give him the fake copy, while giving the real books to Trysha.

Bring Trysha some grimoires

Bring Trysha “Fulminous Shield”

Purchased the book from the trader named Dudley (NPC) located in Melve for 5000 G. You can find him standing near the north entrance.

Bring Trysha “Towering Earth”

The towering Earth book can be obtained from Waldhar (NPC) after you rescue him during the main quest The Caged Magistrate. After the quest, you can find him in The Gracious Hand’s vaults (underground area) in the Slums.

Bring Trysha “Let There Be Light”

This book is located in Myriddin’s Home in Checkpoint Rest Town. The books are on the second floor. You can enter from the balcony.

Bring Trysha “Nation’s Death Knell”

It is inside a chest at F2 level located in the Waterfall Cave dungeon.

Bring Trysha “Howling Blizzard”

It is inside a chest at F2 level located in the Waterfall Cave dungeon.

Once you have collected all the books give them to Trysha when she is alone.

Visit Trysha the Next Day

Return the next day to see Trysha casting magical spells outside. Don’t attack and stay away from her as she casts magical spells. Follow and wait around for her to run out of magic and get exhausted.

Once she is exhausted and stops casting spells then sprint up and grab her.

Wait for Trysha to wake

Return the next day to the house. Speak with Trysha and Eini to end the quest.
