Chapter 1 Collectibles | Guardians of the Galaxy | Outfits, Archives, Guardian Collectible

This guide shows the location of all the collectibles in Chapter 1 of Guardians of the Galaxy. There are 11 collectibles in Chapter 1 (7 Archives, 2 Outfits, 2 Guardian Collectibles).

1) Archive: Team Costumes

At the start of the game, leave your room and take the right to enter Rocket’s room. In Rocket’s room, you will find the Archive on the ground as shown below.

2) Archive: Nano-Resin Incident Report

As soon as you land on the Pink Planet, you can find the collectible on a yellow box to your left.

3) Outfit – Rocket: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

After a little while, you will have to slide down to reach a fork on the path. After sliding down, go to the right and jump down as shown below. After jumping down, turn left to find the outfit inside a purple container.

4) Archive: Pride and Fall

After sliding down, take the path on the left. Then turn left and collect the Archive from the ground.

5) Archive: QZ Disposal

You will get this collectible after Rocket activates the Shooting Challenge. Shoot the goo to clear your path as shown below. After the path is cleared, climb up and go left. Here you will find the collectible on the ground on the right side.

6) Guardian Collectible: Ravager Comm Bracelet

As you proceed after collecting the previous collectible, you will drop down a hole and Rocket will tell you to proceed without him. As you proceed, you will see some goo as shown in the second picture below. Destroy the goo to uncover the Guardian Collectible underneath it.

7) Archive: Failed to Send Message

After the first fight with the green round enemies, take the small flight of stairs on the right side. Then jump to reach the upper platform. Here you will find the Archive on the ground as shown below.

8) Archive: Unthinkable

Destroy the goo on the eye of the massive Robot Head. Then go inside the Robot’s Head, where you will find a cage at the center as shown below. The Archive is inside the cage.

9) Outfit – Groot: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Just after the cutscene where you are reunited with Groot, turn right and crouch down to go through the hole in the goo. Here you will find the outfit inside a purple box.

10) Guardian Collectible: Spinal Control Unit

After learning the quick reload ability from the first weapon upgrade bench, drop down and fight the enemies. Then proceed on the only path. Jump up and then turn around to find some goo as shown in the second picture below. Destroy the goo to uncover the Guardian Collectible underneath it.

11) Archive: A Miracle!

After you have reunited with Drax and Gamora, use their abilities to place a pillar as shown below. Climb up the pillar. In the next room, you will find the Archive sitting near some pipes as shown below.
