Dragon’s Dogma 2: Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge Quest Walkthrough

This article will guide you on how to complete all the objectives of the side quest “Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge” in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Starting Location

Requirement: Dulled Steel, Cold Forge side quest.
This quest starts automatically after the Dulled Steel, Cold Forge side quest.

Check on Sara’s progress

Leave Battahl and return to Brokkr’s Smithy after a few days (minimum of two days). You can speak with Sara about the sword and the dialogue will end.

Leave the area and return to Brokkr’s Smithy after 2 days. Brokkr will inform you that Sara went to the Volcanic Isle to work on the sword and will ask you to bring her back.

Find Sara

Head to the Volcanic Isle to locate Sara (NPC). Enter the cave and follow the path until you find Sara at the end. 

Also, it is recommended to fight most of the enemies along the way else you need to fight them again while escorting Sara.

Deliver Sara to the cave entrance

Escort Sara out of the cave. You need to save Sara if any enemies attack you on the way.

Return to the smithy

Meet her again at the smithy in Bakbattahl to receive the restored sword.

Report back to Roman

Deliver the restored sword to Roman in Vernworth to end the quest. You can find him in the garden outside the castle.
