This guide shows the complete walkthrough of Freya’s Missing Peace Favour/ Side Quest in God of War Ragnarok. To start the quest, you need to reach the end of Story Mission 6: The Reckoning. Come out from the south side of Freyr’s Camp and take the boat. When you reach the mystic gateway, go right as shown in the second picture below. Then continue ahead. The quest will unlock automatically while you are boating around in the area.
Objectives:
– Reach the entrance of Freya’s wedding shrine
– Explore the shrine
– Leave the shrine
Reach the entrance of Freya’s wedding shrine
After the quest starts, row your boat until you reach Cliffside Ruins as shown in the picture below. Click here to see all Cliffside Ruins collectibles.
Dock your boat and climb up the wall on the left side. Then jump on the platforms and burn the vines on the south side of the area as shown below. Hit the vines with purple arrows. Then hit one of those arrows with your blade to cause an explosion, burning the vines. Now climb up the chain below the vines that you just burned. Then turn left and interact with the seal as shown in the second picture below. This will break the mountain walls ahead, clearing your path to go further south.
Hop back on the boat. Then continue south until you reach the Goddess Falls as shown in the picture below. Now you have to climb to the top of the waterfall. To reach there, climb up the wall on the right side. Then jump across to the left side using the hook hanging from the branch. Then turn right and climb up the wall to reach the top of the waterfall.
Once you have climbed to the top, go near the door as shown in the picture below, and interact with it. Freya will now burn the vines and open the door. Go through the door and you will enter Vanir Shrine. This completes the objective. Click here to see how to get all Goddess Falls collectibles.
Explore the shrine
As you enter Vanir Shrine, you will have a boss fight with Soul Eater. After the fight, turn left and you will see a red door with two torches above it. You need to ignite the two torches simultaneously to open the door. You will see some red vines on the top left corner of the door. Burn them with your purple arrows and blade. To light the torches, shoot purple arrows on the three circles on top of the gate as shown in the picture below. Then hit the central arrow with your blade. This will cause an explosion and ignite both torches, opening the door.

Head through the door and defeat the enemies inside. Then burn the red vines blocking your path as shown in the picture below. Burn the vines and proceed ahead.
Defeat the enemies in the area. Then speak with Freya about her first belonging. After that Freya will burn the green vines on the passage on the left side as shown in the second picture below. Proceed ahead and interact with the seal there and follow the prompts. This will make some shining symbols appear in the central area.
Go back to the middle portion of the central area, where Soul eater was. Here you will see a draw bridge on the right side. Break the chain lock as shown in the picture below. Near the draw bridge, you will see some vines as shown below. Go near the vines and burn them. This will reveal another chain lock behind the vines as shown in the second picture below. Break this and the draw bridge will come down.
Proceed ahead and defeat the enemies there. Then open the red door as shown in the picture below.
Head inside then defeat the enemies there. Now speak with Freya about her second belonging as shown in the picture below. After that Freya will burn the green vines on the passage on the right side as shown in the second picture below. Proceed ahead and interact with the seal there and follow the prompts. This will make some shining symbols appear in the central area.
Head back near the shining symbol in the central area and interact with it. This will make a bridge appear. Proceed ahead and open the rune door. Inside, Freya will find the third belonging. This will complete the objective.
Leave the Shrine
Head back to the boat docked in the Goddess Falls. As you interact with it, you will be attacked by two Drekis. Defeat them and interact with the boat to complete the quest.
