God of War Ragnarok: The Mysterious Orb

This guide shows the complete walkthrough of The Mysterious Orb Favour/ Side Quest in God of War Ragnarok. To start the quest, you need to reach the end of Story Mission 6: The Reckoning. When you are at the Freyr’s Camp as shown in the picture below, talk to Lynda at the blacksmith’s. She will ask you to find a mysterious orb and will also tell you about three missing armor pieces. Find the items and Lunda will restore the armor set for free.

Lunda’s Broken Belt (Noatun’s Garden)

Get out of the camp from the south side and take the boat. When you reach the mystic gateway, go right as shown in the picture below. Then continue ahead until you reach the Noatun’s Garden as shown in the second picture below. Defeat the enemies there and then interact with the seal on the wall as shown in the third picture below. This will break the wall. Open the red chest inside to get Lunda’s Broken Belt.

Lunda’s Broken Bracers (Cliffside Ruins)

Hop back on the boat and continue south until you reach the Cliffside Ruins as shown below. Climb the wall on the left side and then open the red chest as shown in the second picture below to get Lunda’s Broken Bracers.

Now jump on the platforms and burn the vines on the south side as shown below. Hit the vines with purple arrows. Then hit one of those arrows with your blade to cause an explosion, burning the vines. Now climb up the chain below the vines that you just burned. Then turn left and interact with the seal as shown in the second picture below. This will break the mountain walls ahead, clearing your path to go further south.

Mysterious Orb (The Veiled Passage)

Hop back on the boat and go south until you reach the location shown in the pictures below. Go left from the marked location to reach The Veiled Passage.

On reaching The Veiled Passage, you will find a Nornir Chest on the right side. Get down from your boat here and you will find the mysterious orb in the corner as shown in the picture below.

Lunda’s Broken Cuirass (The Veiled Passage)

Continue further ahead in The Veiled Passage. Dock your boat where the water ends. Open the red chest here as shown in the picture below and open it to get Lunda’s Broken Cuirass. Once you have the three broken armor pieces and the mysterious orb, go back to Lunda and give her the items. She will then restore the armor pieces for free. This completes the favor.
