This article will guide you on how to complete all the objectives of the side quest “Crossing in Shadow” in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Starting Location
Requirement: “A Place to Call Home” and “A Candle in the Storm“ side quest.
To start the quest, head back to your home in Venworth and rest. At night an NPC Vera should come to your home and ask for your help to escort Empress Nadinia and her people to the Rose Chateau
Escort Nadinia without exposing her identity
After the quest starts, the player needs to help Nadinia and her people reach the Rose Chateau on the south side of the city without her being recognized.
To complete this objective, the player should stay behind Vera and Empress and just need to follow as they go toward their destination.
As you follow them, you will get a cutscene where an NPC is trying to buy medicine. It’s optional, speak with the shopkeeper and pay 1000 G for the medicine.
In another cutscene, a man asks for aid as he is being chased by a soldier. Don’t help her else you will get arrested.
Continue to follow Vera and the Empress until you arrive at the Rose Chateau to end the quest.
