This guide shows the complete walkthrough of Fia’s questline in Elden Ring. Completing this questline unlocks a new ending.

Step 1: Talk to Fia in the Roundtable Hold

Step 1: Talk to Fia in the Roundtable Hold (Let her Hold you)
Talk to Fia regularly after boss fights and let her hold you.
Step 2: Talk to Rogier in the Roundtable Hold
Talk to Sorcerer Rogier in the Roundtable Hold and finish all the chat options. You will receive Rogier’s Rapier +8 from him
Step 3: Fia will ask you for a favor
Keep talking to Fia after boss fights. Eventually, you will get the “May I ask you a favor?” chat option. Select this chat option, and she will give you a Weathered Dagger. Fia will ask you to find the owner of this dagger and return it to him.
Step 4: Return the dagger to its owner
Talk to D in the Roundtable Hold and give him the dagger.
Step 5: Talk to Fia
Come back to the Roundtable Hold after some time. You won’t find Fia in her room. Go past the blacksmith to the room as shown in the picture below. You will find D dead there and Fia will leave the Roundtable Hold. You will get Twinned Armor Set from D’s body. Go to Rogier and you will find him dead too. Come back later and you will get Spellblade’s Armor Set from Rogier’s body.
Step 6: Find Fia in Deeproot Depths
Fia is in the Deeproot Depths, which is an underground area that can be accessed through Nokron Eternal City. Click here to see how to reach the Deeproot Depths.
After reaching Deeproot Depths, turn right and ride on the tree branch going west. When this branch ends, jump to another branch on the left side to reach the ground ahead as shown in the pictures below.
Continue ahead towards the west and you will reach Deeproot Depths Site of Grace as shown below.
From the Deeproot Depths Site of Grace, turn right and walk underneath the tree roots as shown in the pictures below.
As you continue ahead, you will reach a gazebo. You will find the Deeproot Depths map on this gazebo as shown in the picture below.
Go past this gazebo, and you will find a few ruined houses on the left side. Jump on the roof of the ruined houses to reach the tree root as shown in the pictures below.
Ride on this tree root and turn left then ride to the top towards the tower.
Ride on this tree root till you reach the tower. When the root splits into two, take the path that goes behind the tower. Jump onto another tree root there as shown in the pictures below. Ride on this tree root till the top.
After reaching the end of this tree root, jump down to reach Across the Roots Site of Grace as shown in the pictures below.
Walk ahead from the Site of Grace. Here you will have to fight Fia’s Champion.
After defeating Fia’s Champion, talk to Fia, who will be sitting there. Choose the option, “No I want to be held”. She will ask you to find a Hallowbrand.
Step 7: Get Cursemark of Death
To get the Cursemark of Death, you will need Carian Inverted Statue that you will get during Ranni’s questline. Click here to see the complete walkthrough of Ranni’s questline.
Once you have the Carian Inverted Statue, go to the Carian study hall and place the Carian Inverted Statue on the pedestal as shown in the pictures below. This will make the building inverted.
After placing the Carian Inverted Statue, take the stairs to go behind the Carian study hall. Then jump down on the ledge below and walk over the window as shown below. Then walk ahead to reach the other side.
Jump over the platform on the left side. Move ahead and jump on the ledge below at the end of the platform. Walk on the ledge and jump down on the chandeliers down below until you reach the elevator as shown in the pictures below.
Take the elevator to the bottom. When the elevator stops, move straight ahead and open the door. You will be able to see the Divine Tower of Liurnia now as shown in the picture below.
Enter the Divine Tower of Liurnia and go to the roof. Collect the Cursemark of Death there.
Step 8: Give Cursemark of Death to Fia
Go back to Fia in the Deeproot Depths and give her the Cursemark of Death.
Step 9: Enter Fia’s Deathbed Dream
Come back after some time and talk to Fia again. Keep reloading the area until you find Fia asleep. Then enter the Deathbed Dream and defeat the boss. After the fight, collect Mending Rune of the Death-Prince from Fia’s body. Come back later to get Fia’s Robe and Fia’s Hood from her body.
Note: If you gave the Twinned Armor Set to D’s brother, then he would appear near Fia’s corpse at the end of the questline. Click here for D’s questline guide. This does not impact Fia’s questline.
Step 10: Mending Rune of the Death-Prince Ending
Finish the game. Then use Mending Rune of the Death-Prince at the end to get Fia’s Ending.
