Jinren Island: All 5 Cage Key Locations | Genshin Impact 2.0

This article shows the location of keys for the 5 cages in Jinren island. Jinren Island is a small island north of Narukami Island in the Inazuma Region introduced in the Genshin Impact 2.0 update. There is one cage key that opens a cage containing a prisoner and there are four metal keys that open cages containing Treasure, Dog, Enigmatic page, and Seelie.

Cage 1/5: Prisoner (Cage Key)

The caged man is at the peak of Jinren Island (See the picture below for location). He will tell you that the key to the cage is at the top of a tree near the cage. The tree can be identified with the glittering due to the key. The tree is on the east of the cage (See the picture below). Get the key and free the man. The prisoner’s name is Saimon Jirou will inform you that he is a treasure hunter. Freeing Saimon Jirou starts The Farmer’s Treasure world quest.

Cage 2/5: Dog (Metal Key)

The cage with the dog inside is in the southern portion of Jinren island as shown in the picture below. The Metal key to open the cage is on top of a crate northwest of the cage location. The crate is on a wooden platform attached to the mountain wall. See the picture below for the location of the metal key. Use the key to free the dog and this will unlock the ‘Who Let the Dogs Out’ secret achievement.

Cage 3/5: Treasure Chest (Metal Key)

Cage with an Exquisite treasure chest inside is at the north portion of the southern Jinren Island as shown in the picture below. The metal key that opens the cage is on top of a crate northwest of the cage location. The crate is on a wooden platform attached to the mountain wall. The key location is just below the fast travel point. See the picture below for the location of the metal key. Opening the treasure will give you Exile’s Goblet, Fine Enhancement Ore, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Lucky Dog’s Eagle Feather, and Dull Blade.

Cage 4/5: Enigmatic Page (Metal Key)

Metal Key 3 is on top of a crate on the north side of southern Jinren Island as shown in the first and second pictures below. The Cage that the key opens is hanging from the northern side of the peak as shown in the third, fourth, and fifth pictures below. The cage is hanging from the peak with thick plant vines. The cage contains an Enigmatic Page.

Cage 5/5: Seelie (Metal Key)

Metal Key 4 is on top of a crate at the south side of southern Jinren Island as in the first and second pictures below. Cage the key open is hanging from the southern side of the peak as shown in the third, fourth, and fifth picture below. The cage is hanging from the peak with thick plant vines. The cage contains a Seelie. Following the Seelie reveals a common chest containing Fine Enhancement Ore, Hunter’s Bow, Lucky Dog’s Clover, and Traveling Doctor’s Pocket Watch.
