How to buy cars in Forza Horizon 5

There are two ways to buy cars in Forza Horizon 5. The game menus may be confusing for newcomers at the start, below are the steps on how it works.

1. After loading the game, visit your nearest Horizon Festival Outpost.
2. Press LB button of your controller.
3. Click the Buy & Sell option on the top bar – and select any of the below preferences
   1. Select Autoshow for purchasing new cars. 
   2. Select Auction House for used cars.
4. Choose a car that fits within your price range and buy it

How to sell cars in Forza Horizon 5

Selling a car in Forza Horizon 5 is like listing it at an auction house, where your car goes for auction and wait for bids to be placed within a specific time period. Below are the steps to sell cars in Horizon 5:

1. Load up the game, and visit your nearest Horizon Festival Outpost.
2. Press LB button of your controller.
3. Click the Buy & Sell option on the top bar and then select Auction House. 
4. Select Start Auction, click the car you want to sell.
5. Select the starting price & buyout, length of the auction time, and post the listing.

How to gift cars in Forza Horizon 5

There are two ways in which you can gift a car in Forza Horizon 5

#1: Go to a barn find you have discovered, and place a car in that particular barn for other people to collect it. Barn Finds aren’t available at the start of the game, keep playing the game until the rumors start and their vague locations appear on your map.

At the barn find, select the car to gift. You will get the option of whom you like to gift, then select the gift message, and a gift from.

#2: There must have a minimum of 2 cars available in your garage, as you cannot gift a car you are already driving. Make your way to the My Horizon menu which you can access in the pause menu, and select the Gift Drop option. From here you can choose which car you would want to gift.
