Shadows of Rose is a DLC story mode exclusive to Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. It was announced at Capcom’s E3 presentation in June 2021, and was made available with the rest of Winters Expansion and in Gold Edition on 28 October 2022. In the Shadows of Rose DLC, Ethan Winter’s daughter, Rose, returns to a nightmarish version of the village on her hunt to find the Purifying Crystal that might cleanse her of her cursed powers.
